Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per transaction for UK cards, and 2.5% + 20p for international cards. InvoiceAdept does not add any markup on top of Stripe's fees. You can absorb the fee or pass it on to your customer — your choice.
No. InvoiceAdept connects directly to Stripe, which acts as your payment processor. There is no separate merchant account to set up. The whole process takes around 5 minutes and you'll need your UK bank account details and proof of identity.
Stripe pays out to your UK bank account within 1–2 working days of each transaction. After you've built a few weeks of payment history, this typically moves to next-business-day payouts.
Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported, so customers can pay with one tap on their phone. All major UK consumer and business cards work.
